the iMpostume is shocked to discover that Cop Shoot Cop's " Consumer Revolt" one of the best albums of the Eighties is available to download along with two brilliant and extremely difficult to find EPs at THIS address...

however under no circumstances should you download it as that would be wholeheartedly endorsing the anti-capitalist/consumerist ethic contained within, right lads? Errr.....

Cracking - was it really released in the 80s? Even more evidence of the greatness of that decade. Rock n roll doesn't get much better than this

Well, composed in the '80s, anyway. Those first two EPs were released in 1989 and the LP followed in 1990. BTW, Carl, thanks for the link back. I'll eventually be posting Cop Shoot Cop's complete discography (b-sides and all). Stay tuned!

wierd.. i could have sworn i was listening to this BEFORE i went to university, which was in 1989...was it an american import copy?..hmm...no... checking around i'm clearly wrong...1990 it was..Kevin... nice to meet another admirer... i already have all the CSC stuff but you know, if you should happen to post Firewater's " Songs we should have written" at some point.....

Nah, you brought it to Leeds with you (did you really buy it in Barrow? mail order maybe?) at the beginning of the second year of uni - 1990. Czech lager has no effect on my memory mate, although it can make the present more difficult to deal with

dear god man how can your memory be this good.. or is it simply that mine's lousy.. actually you know what, it was Darryl's LP i think, she got it mail order from that geezer she later ended up...err.. shagging...but holding ex boyfriend status i clearly thought i had the right to "borrow" it indefinitely...i do however remember the "night of the ultra strong mushrooms" with horrible clarity...
