absolutely one of mine too. mark hoyle had another band after Dub Sex called..can't remember... but i DO remember i had a furious drunken arguement with my then girlfriend and insisted on leaving before they came on at the Duchess of York (and naturally later blamed her for making me miss them etc) i did see Dub Sex supporting the Butthole Surfers in about 87 i guess...though i was already a fan, having their peel session on tape and being quite obsessed by the track Man on The Inside, still my favourite song of theirs.
Hoyle used to work in Aflleck's palace in Manchester and when i occasionally went up there to buy records from Eastern Bloc i'd see him, have this burning desire to tell him how great his band were but never plucked up enough courage
the video was made for Snub TV far as i remember, who also had an interview with them and a live clip of a track called, i think "snapper"
i also remember Tripwire getting a horrible 1 star review in Sounds....
I had an idea a few years ago to try to release a 'Manchester Nuggets' collection, featuring Yargo, Dub Sex, KOTS, Intastella even The Man From Delmonte... All those bands that have been written out of Manchester music history for various reasons...

This is honestly one of my favourite songs of all time. Amazed to see there was a promo video for it!
