I felt it was an omission not to mention French and Saunders's parody of MAMMA MIA! in the book; it's first of all one of the more brilliant English cinematic products this century, and secondly illustrates the point you made about the movie clearly and directly. (F & S are also a part of the punk wave, and are criminally overlooked in the Marxist blawgosphere)
