Philip Lynott - Yellow Pearl
used as the TOTP theme at some point, co written by midge ure, i think, from lynott's really good solo album. i've listened to a lot of thin lizzy this year. this is kind of Thin LaDusseldorf. or it is to my ears, at least.
i continue listening to lizzy from all eras - bradford cox and animal collective inspired me to check out " Vagabonds of the Western World ". but i struggle to be satisfied by the studio albums in their entirety. also enjoyed some fantastic live footage on youtube. rock on.
